Warranty

This warranty is extended to the original boat trailer purchaser only. This warranty shall be effective two years from the date of manufacture or two years from the date of retail sale in accordance with coverage described in section III of this document.

Duration Section II

As a condition precedent to this Warranty, the Original Retail Purchaser must notify Becktons ltd, Green lane, Staines, Mx TW18 within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. Failure to comply with this notification, within the time provided, will relieve Becktons Ltd. from any responsibility under this Warranty.

What is Covered Section III

Beckton’s are proud to offer a (1) one year Guarantee on all of the Boat Trailers & Accessories. We are so confident that you will be satisfied with the craftsmanship of our Boat Trailers, they are Guaranteed to be free from factory defects in materials and workmanship for one year.

For two (2) years from the date of manufacture Becktons Ltd , warrants the following parts and components to be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under normal conditions for the manufactured (and designed) purpose, and provided they receive proper care. Frame assembly, winch stand assembly, towbar assembly, roller bracket assemblies, bunk support brackets and welded parts.

What is Not Covered Section IV

Becktons Limited Warranties do not cover the costs of damage caused by normal wear and tear or caused by environmental factors. “Environmental factors include, such things as; chemicals, salt, “salt spray”, contact with hazardous materials. “Acts of Nature” include such things as hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, or flooding. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by abuse, negligence, (including improperly tightening nuts and bolts, or improperly adjusted trailer brakes & coupling), lack of maintenance, vandalism, corrosion, improper storage accidents, overloading, or unauthorized repairs. The warranty does not apply to any statements, representations, or warranties given by dealer or other third party persons other than those provided herein. The Becktons Boat Trailer Warranty does not cover “incidental or consequential” damages connected with the failure of your trailer under warranty. Such damages include: lost time, any unit that is part of a rental fleet, the cost of a rental trailer, fuel, travel or lodging, the loss of personal or commercial property, or the loss of revenue. The Becktons Boat Trailer Warranty will not apply to any altered or modified trailer. Warranty does not apply to the use of the manufacture’s product in a commercial application without the express written approval of Becktons Ltd. Your Becktons Warranty does not cover alterations to your trailer once it has been delivered to you, even if parts, components, or modifications occur as a production change on a model trailer after your trailer was built.

Warranty Claim Procedures V

Upon discovery of a defect, the owner must contact a Becktons Ltd or one of our appointed Dealers within fifteen (14) days after discovery, dealers will effect any corrective action required under this Warranty after prior written authorization from Becktons. If there is no Becktons dealer within the practical vicinity, the owner must contact Becktons Boat Trailers direct on phone number 0844 504 1100 to obtain prior written authorization for any corrective action required under this Warranty.

Two Year Warranty is available on Trailers Purchased after 01-12-2009. All trailers prior to this date have one year guarantee only.
